THE OREN JONES FUND:

On Feb. 18 and 19, 2011, the School of Theology celebrated its 50^th anniversary with presentations by Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan, world-renown scholars of 21^st century religious thought.  The event honored the late Oren Jones, who served as a founding member and officer of the Board until his death in 2008.  The Board established the Oren Jones Memorial Fund to provide financial support for this convocation and to ensure the continuing work of the school in a challenging, global society.
